The film is set in a factory in Minnesota. It centers around a group of employees who are deeply dissatisfied with their union leadership. Despite paying large amounts of their salary in dues, the union members have not received a raise in many years. They suspect that their president is receiving bribes from the factory's owner, but lack proof. They then attempt to set up the president in a sting operation, where they will hire the brother-in-law of one of their group to pretend to offer the president a bribe. The film features coarse language and some depictions of violence.
