About Alex is about seven college friends that grew up together very close but went through the inevitable drift after graduating college. They decided to have a reunion when one of the members of the group, Alex, has a breakdown that leads to an attempted suicide. Their intentions were to cheer him up but once they were all together their personal differences led to trouble. Instead of their original plan of making Alex feel better, their time together of drinking and drugs quickly turns into a rollercoaster of jealousy and drama.

About Alex offers a realistic view of the everyday situation of longtime friends drifting apart as they grow older while bringing to life a touchy subject, suicide. In the movie, you will get a view of the reactions of friends when they hear that one of their own as attempted suicide. There is mixture of grief and a mixture of anger. Some of the friends confront Alex with concern while others confront him with confrontation.
