Agent Red, also known as Captured, is a U.S. action film that was written and directed by Damian Lee and Jim Wynorski with Steve Latshaw. The movie starring Dolph Lundgren revolves around two soldiers who are caught in a submarine with a terrorist group planning to engage in chemical warfare on America. The story begins when back in the 1930s, the U.S. came upon a very deadly secret. Through certain methods, the government accidentally created a very contagious, highly deadly and devastatingly lethal virus. With a 100 percent fatality rate, Agent Red is a very dangerous substance. Used as a nerve toxin, it has the capabilities of a slate cleaner powerful enough to kill someone within 12 minutes of exposure. After three minutes, victims get migraines, nausea and finally, blood will seep from the victim’s body. The Russians stole the poison potion from the U.S. in the 1950s. After it leaked out, wiping out an entire small village, the Russian government decided to send it back to the U.S. They believe that their country’s instability would lead to its capture in any case. While en route to the U.S. through a nuclear submarine, Russian terrorists manage to take over and steal the Agent Red. Their plan is to release it in an attempt to destroy New York and Moscow. When Matt Hendricks (played by Dolph Lundgren) is shown what Agent Red is capable of, time is of the essence to get it back into the possession of the U.S. so that it can be safely discarded. As terrorists show that they mean business by blowing up an old ship, the explosiveness of the situation could not be more clear. Hendricks is accompanied by ex-fiancee and virologist, Linda (played by Meilani Paul). Russian terrorists infiltrate the submarine in an attempt to take it over. The race against time begins as Hendricks and the U.S. Navy must confront and thwart the psychopathic leader, Dr. Kretz (played by Alexander Kuznetsov) in an effort to save themselves and much of the world.
