The 2006 remake of ‘Black Christmas’ is a movie that focuses on a group of sorority sisters living in the house of a notorious murderer who has become something of an urban legend on sorority row. Although the tale of Billy has become an urban legend that doesn’t mean that Billy didn’t exist and isn’t still, in fact, very much alive and waiting to come home for Christmas. This is exactly what happens when Billy escapes from the high security mental hospital to return home for Christmas. However, aside from the danger of Billy there is also Agnes, Billy’s half-sister/daughter. Although Agnes’ initial fate was to end up in a home for disturbed children her current whereabouts are no longer known, however, Agnes is much closer than the sorority girls realize as she has been living in their attic and moving through the house used the spaces between the walls that lead to the attic. Not only has Agnes been living in the attic but she has begun eliminating the girls from the house in preparation for Billy’s arrival. Billy developed his murderous ways thanks to his neglectful mother and witnessing her and her lover’s act of murdering Billy’s father. Billy, having always known about the passageways in the walls, quickly escapes to the attic. However, his mother knowing that was where he would run, padlocks the entrance and keeps her son locked there for many years. One night when her new husband has passed out she enters the attic and forces her son into intimacy, the result being Agnes. Billy, finally reached his limit, escapes the attic one Christmas and attacks Agnes and then kills his step father and mother. Now, Agnes and Billy have been reunited and are determined to take repossession of their house. Unfortunately, they choose to make the girls' evictions deadly and permanent. The question is can the girls survive Christmas?
