This Lifetime movie opens by showing a man pull up in a truck and dispose of a body bag. Something in the body bag moves, he hits with a shovel and throws it in grave. Abby (Brooke Burns) goes to her mother’s house and finds out that her sister Halie (Alexandra Lydon) is missing, so Abby heads to Halie’s apartment to see if she can find out where she has gone. With no luck, she calls an old friend Tim (David Moscow) who is a deputy and asks for his help. This leads her to a strip club, where she meets bartender Ray (Greg Vaughan) who she believes has information on where she might find her sister. Before returning to the strip club she goes by her sister’s apartment one more time and she stumbles upon an envelope with the name “Michael” on it. Abby runs into “Michael” (played by George Stults) at Halie’s apartment and discovers that he is a reporter that used to talk to Halie when she was a stripper at the club. He was doing a story on women crossing the border for cheap plastic surgery. Michael and Abby team up, much to the dismay of Tim the deputy, in the search for Halie and they run across an older woman with an axe to grind against the doctor performing the surgeries. She gives them enough information that they are able to find the clinic in Mexico and get inside, where Abby gets trapped with the man from beginning who disposed of the body. Running out of time, not only to find out what happened to Halie but also in saving their own lives, Abby and Michael make a last effort attempt to escape. In the midst of their escape they learn that some good guys are really bad guys and who they thought were bad guys were really good.
