Bride of Vengeance is a 1949 drama that takes place during the Italian Renaissance. The story deals with the infamous Borgia family. The story focuses on the tension and strained relationship between Cesare Borgia and his sister Lucretia. Cesare hires assassins to kill Lucretia’s husband Prince Biscegile. He wants to marry her off to the Duke of Ferra in order to acquire the Duke’s territory. Lucretia intends on avenging her first husband’s murder but soon learns about her brother intentions to conquer the Duke’s territory. She helps the Duke defend his land. Although the movie takes historical liberties, it is a fun movie to watch.
