Coolie No. 1 is a Bollywood/world cinema film. It was released in 1995. The film was directed by David Dhawan. The film focuses on a man who likes to play matchmaker. His name is Sadashiv Amrapurkar. Amrapurkar asks his friend, Govinda, to do a huge favor for him. He requests that his friend fool people into believing that he is a bachelor that is well off. By devising this plan and getting his friend to pose as a wealthy bachelor, he hopes that he can ultimately cause a father who comes off as very cocky to become more humble.
