This version of the classic Daniel Defoe story of Robinson Crusoe sees the titular hero shipwrecked on a desert island and forced to fight for life after local cannibals discover him living close by. The death of his dog leaves Crusoe feeling more isolated and lonely than before as his attempts at boat building fail repeatedly. Crusoe rescues a tribesman from being scrificed, but returns to his slave master ways by chaining him up outside the cave he sleeps in. As only Lucky remains by his side, Crusoe must explore his inner self and find ways of trusting his new companion.
