This movie is based on the true story of a mother whose daughter was raped, beaten, and left in a coma. When the young girl awakens, she identifies the rapist as being a janitor from her school. In a fit of rage, the mother shoots and kills the janitor in a crowded courtroom after he openly mocks her daughter. Desperate Justice takes a deep look at what it means to be a parent. The movie tells the story of a rapist not having to pay for his crimes, and a mother left to defend her own criminal actions.
