"Europa Report" is a 2013 science fiction found footage movie. Several unmanned probes discovered an ocean under the icy surface of Europa, one of Jupiter's moons. Europa Ventures, a space exploration company, funds Europa One mission to discover whether single-celled organisms exist in this ocean. Several international astronauts are recruited. Willam Xu (Daniel Wu) and Rosa Dasque (Anamaria Marinca) lead the mission. The other crew members are Daniel Luxembourg (Christian Camargo), the chief science officer; Katya Petrovna (Karolina Wydra), the marine biology science officer; Andrei Blok (Michael Nyqvist), the chief engineer; and James Corrigan (Sharlto Copley), the junior engineer. However, the mission doesn't go as planned. A thermal vent affects the spacecraft's landing. The ice surface begins to shift because of several quakes. A solar storm and increasing radiation affect communication. Strange lights appear in the distance. The probe they use to collect samples receives a large dose of radiation and gets hit by an unknown object. As a result, the probe stops working. Katya must leave the spacecraft and collect samples by hand. Daniel remotely analyzes her samples. He finds single-celled organisms. Watch "Europa Report" to learn exactly what the crew discovers on Europa and what happens to them.
