Evils of the Night is a campy horror film from 1985 that blends elements of slasher films, alien invasions, and teen sex comedies. Directed by Mardi Rustam and starring a cast of veteran actors including Neville Brand, Aldo Ray, and Tina Louise, the movie tells the story of a group of horny teenagers who find themselves targeted by a group of extraterrestrial vampire nurses who are harvesting young people for their blood in order to stay young forever.

The movie opens with a montage of night shots of a small town somewhere in middle America, accompanied by an eerie sci-fi score that sets the mood for what is to come. We are then introduced to our group of protagonists: four young people who have decided to spend the night camping near a remote lake. There is Nancy (Karrie Emerson), a perky blonde who is looking forward to losing her virginity to her boyfriend; Heather (Julie Gray), her brunette best friend who is more reserved and cautious; Ron (Tony O'Dell), a jock type who is only interested in getting laid; and Kurt (Andrew Stevens), the sensitive and brooding bad boy who has a dark past.

While the teens are busy setting up camp, we see a UFO hovering over the lake, from which a group of female figures descend. These turn out to be the titular vampire nurses, who are played by three veteran actresses: Tina Louise, Julie Newmar, and a nearly unrecognizable Lorraine Chanel, who is covered in green paint and prosthetics to make her look like an alien. The nurses are on a mission to collect as much blood as possible from the local youth, and they do so by seducing them and then draining their blood through high-tech devices that they carry with them.

Meanwhile, two local mechanics, played by Neville Brand and Aldo Ray, are revealed to be in cahoots with the aliens, as they have made a deal to provide them with fresh human specimens in exchange for a cure to their own aging process. The two old-timers provide most of the comic relief in the film, as they bicker and banter while carrying out their nefarious deeds.

As the night progresses, the teens encounter various obstacles and dangers that prevent them from leaving the area, including a power outage, a broken-down car, and a sexually aggressive park ranger. One by one, they fall victim to the vampire nurses, who are able to use their seductive powers to lure them into their trap. Nancy is the first to go, followed by Ron and Kurt, leaving Heather as the only survivor. She teams up with a local sheriff and his deputy to fight off the aliens and save her friends, eventually discovering the mechanics' secret lair and forcing a confrontation.

Evils of the Night is not a particularly well-made or scary movie - the special effects are cheesy, the acting is wooden, and the plot is predictable. However, it does have a certain charm and nostalgic appeal, especially for fans of 80s horror and exploitation cinema. Its mix of genre tropes and outrageous elements (such as the alien vampire nurses) make it a unique addition to the canon of low-budget horror films. The presence of recognizable actors like Neville Brand and Tina Louise adds a touch of class to the proceedings, even if their performances are hammy at best.

Overall, Evils of the Night is a fun and silly movie that is perfect for a late-night viewing with friends. It may not be a classic of the genre, but it has earned a place in the hearts of cult movie fans everywhere.

Evils of the Night is a 2014 horror movie with a runtime of 1 hour and 24 minutes. It has received mostly poor reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 3.7.
