Fallout is a post-apocalyptic action film from 1999, following the story of two former US Army commandos who struggle to survive in a world devastated by a nuclear war. Directed by Rodney McDonald, the movie stars Daniel Baldwin as Frank Maguire and Frank Zagarino as Jack Nash, two soldiers who were sent on a mission to recover a stolen nuclear missile.

The movie begins with a grim scene of a nuclear explosion, which wipes out most of the world's population. The survivors are left to contend with a harsh radioactive wasteland, where water and food are scarce, and dangers lurk around every corner. Frank and Jack are among the few military personnel left alive, and they find themselves on the run after their unit is annihilated by enemy forces.

Desperate to stay alive, the two soldiers embark on a dangerous journey across the wasteland, making their way towards the missile's last known location. Along the way, they encounter a number of other survivors, all struggling to stay alive in the harsh new world. They meet up with Teri Ann Linn's character, a woman named Julie, who joins them on their quest for survival.

The trio face a number of obstacles along the way, from hostile mutant creatures to vicious bandits, who are willing to do whatever it takes to protect their territory. Frank and Jack must fight their way through each encounter, using their combat training and resourcefulness to stay alive.

One of the highlights of the movie is the intense action sequences, which are well-choreographed and realistic. The gunfights and hand-to-hand combat scenes are gritty and brutal, showcasing the harsh reality of the post-apocalyptic world. The special effects are also impressive, capturing the devastation of the nuclear war with haunting imagery of abandoned cities and desolate landscapes.

As the story progresses, the characters face increasingly difficult moral dilemmas, as they struggle with the harsh realities of their new world. They are forced to confront questions about humanity, survival, and what it means to be alive in a world stripped of all comforts and conveniences.

Overall, Fallout is a thrilling and suspenseful post-apocalyptic movie that offers a unique perspective on the genre. The strong performances and well-written script help to elevate the film above similar entries in the genre. While the movie may not be for everyone due to its graphic violence and bleak subject matter, those who enjoy action movies with a darker edge will find plenty to enjoy here.

Fallout is a 1999 action movie with a runtime of 1 hour and 15 minutes. It has received mostly poor reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 3.6.
