Fast Times at Ridgemont High

This movie is a comedy set in the early 80's. It stars Sean Penn before he was a well known actor. It follows a bunch of high school teens at Ridgemont High school. The main character is a burn out named Spicoli. His antics are with his 2 friends are mainly geared toward partying and surfing. There is also a dream sequence where Spicoli wins a surfing title in Hawaii. The main girl characters are Stacy and Linda. Stacy is the naive teen who has never had sex or even fooled around. Linda is the more experienced girl who helps explain all the things Stacy needs to know. Linda's boyfriend goes to college and is out of town. Linda and Stacy work at the local pizzeria in the mall. One day a cute stereo salesman comes in and asks her out. She lies and tells him she is 19. He takes her to the baseball field duggout and she loses her virginity to him. Stacy's brother is Brad Hamilton. Brad is the big shot senior at Ridgemont High. He works at All-American Burger. He is dating Lisa but is debating on breaking it off so he can have his freedom his senior year. Before Brad gets the chance, Lisa breaks up with him. Then he ends up getting fired from All-American Burger. His life seems to be going down hill very fast. The other 2 guys in the movie are Mike Damone and his friend Mark Ratner. Damone is a ticket scalper and a jerk. Mark on the other hand is very shy and lacks self-confidence. Damone encourages Mark to ask out Stacy. He does and they have a nice time even though he is too shy to put the moves on her. Stacy tells Damone that Mark is very nice but she thinks she likes him. He walks her home from school one day and they have sex in her pool house. She later finds out that she is pregnant. Damone stops taking her calls. Stacy ends up having an abortion. The show ends with a summary of all the characters and what they are doing now. Spicoli ends up saving Brooke Shield's life and blows all the reward money on having Van Halen play at his birthday. Mark and Stacy are having a passionate love affair without having gone all the way.
