Kate is a young woman who is accompanying stately Scotsman Douglas Meredith on a week-long trip to the Alps. She is half his age, and Douglas tells those he meets that she is his wife, but there is more to the story. In fact, she is his niece, but she has always been in love with him, ever since her childhood, and she used her wiles to win him over. Five days of incestuous passion await, but then they meet a handsome young mountain guide, and complications ensue when he falls in love with Kate and tries to woo her.
