Watch For Pete's Sake

This screwball comedy tells the story of a young housewife, Henrietta, who is struggling to make ends meet with her cab driver husband. Under pressure from her sister in law to improve their lives, Henrietta takes a tip on pork belly futures as a guaranteed return and borrows $3,000 from a loan shark to complete the investment. Henrietta's investment fails to bear fruit as fast as she needs it to, meaning she is indebted to the loan shark who sells her debt to different criminal characters who attempt to make Henrietta a success as a cattle rustler, bomber and many more roles.
