In this crime comedy based on the book by Elmore Leonard, John Travolta plays a mob enforcer sent to collect a debt from a sleazy movie producer played by Gene Hackman. In the process, Travolta's character falls for an actress played by Rene Russo and also gets the idea to pitch his life story as a potential movie idea. The result is a farce in which the gangster discovers that life in Hollywood is just about as dirty as his life as a mobster. The film was directed by Barry Sonnenfeld and also stars Danny DeVito. It was released in October 1995.
