Gideon has been suffering with a form of mental disability and finally agrees to move into the Lakeview Nursing Home to be cared for and protected. Upon arriving at the nursing home Gideon confuses the predominantly elderly community at Lakeview because of his younger age and energetic take on life. As time moves on Gideon and the many residents, including Addison and Elly grow to like each other and affect each others lives in unexpected ways.
