Watch Haixia

This film is set in a fishing village in China during the 1960s, a time which yielded nothing short of pure and utter turbulence. The premise of the film centers around a group of women who have spent the better part of their lives trying to help their families earn a decent living in the village. However, recently there has been a surge of chaos overtaking nearby towns, brought about by a nasty and cruel military force. These women are learning to live life as both normal individuals, and as militia fighters who will do whatever it takes to protect their way of life.
