Hell Up In Harlem
- 1 hr 34 min
In this 1973 Blaxploitation film, Harlem gangster Tommy Gibbs must fight off rival gangsters to restore his crumbling criminal empire. He must also rescue his wife, who manages to get kidnapped by Tommy's enemies. Hell Up in Harlem is a sequel to Black Caesar, in which Fred Williamson also played Tommy Gibbs. The second film begins with Tommy being saved from the shoot out that, in the original film, looked as if it was the end of our hero. Although the film received poor reviews from critics, it's considered a staple of the Blaxploitation genre and was released on DVD in 2001.
