The movie House of D follows Tom who is an American artist that has moved to Paris. He had a great childhood but is having difficulties as an adult. When his son turned 13 Tom remembers his own childhood. He was raised by a single mother who is still upset at the death of his father. Tom dealt with his grief by acting out. He becomes friends with Pappas, who is a mentally handicapped janitor at the school. Tommy finds his first love at a young age. When all seems to improve for Tommy tragedy strikes again. Tommy is still dealing with the decision he had to make thirty years after it happened. Tom as an adult has to go back and deal with this issue that is unfinished from his past. He is hoping to finally resolve it and find peace. The movie stars David Duchovny, Anton Yelchin, and Robin Williams.
