Goats is a comedy film starring David Duchovny, Vera Farmiga and Graham Phillips. This film derived from the novel “Goats” written by Mark Poirier. The plot of the movie is about a boy named Ellis Whitman, who was only 15 year old. As the boy prepares himself to leave his luxurious home in Tucson for his freshman year in Gate Academy, he realizes he will be leaving his nightmarish mother, Wendy, and the only real father he’d ever known, Goat Man.

Goat Man, Javier, is a pot smoking man with very long hair and a ZZ Top beard who lives rent-free on a property with his goats in return for caretaking chores. As Goat man completes his daily quest through the mountains, he meets a young man (Ellis) and become as father figure as well as a pot supplier.

Wendy, Ellis’s mother, is a New Age woman, who lives with her new boyfriend, Bennet, who is a gigolo and treats Goatman like trash. However, things take tremendous turn around when Goatman spots Bennet committing adultery with another man by Wendy’s pool.

Goats is an Comedy movie that was released in 2012 and has a run time of 1 hr 34 min. It has received mostly poor reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 5.9 and a MetaScore of 38.
