"The TV Set" is an 87 minute long, American dramedy from 2006. Mike is a wide-eye, idealistic scriptwriter who keeps attempting to bring his pilot for a television show through every step of the system. Mike tries to hold onto the essence of his script as he guides it through casting, scheduling, and the cost or production. His dreams are further snarled between a bully of a network president, explosive and unpredictable stars, a wife whom is pregnant with child, a trusting assistant, and searing bursts of intense back pain.
