This movie stars Tim Robbins, Patricia Arquette, and Rhys Ifans. A woman, Lila, who has a rare hormonal imbalance starts to grow hair all over her body in her 20s. She decides to live in the wild where she will not be judged, but decides to come back in her 30s and shave her hair due to her desire to find a romantic partner. While she was in the wild, she wrote a book that became very successful about her encounters and time in the wild. When Lila returns, she finds love with a research scientist. They are hitting it off swimmingly, until they find a man in the wild. He has believed his whole life that he was an ape. Both Lila and Doctor Nathan Bronfman bring this ape man back to society, and try to teach him how to live in society.
