Watch In the Land of Women

In the Land of Women is an American drama movie starring Adam Brody, Kristin Stewart and Meg Ryan. The film begins with Carter Webb (Adam Brody) being broken up with by his girlfriend. Upset and seeking a change from his life in LA, he ends up going to Michigan to take care of his ailing grandmother, Phyllis (Olympia Dukakis). Lucy (Kristen Stewart) Hardwicke lives with her parents across the street from Phyllis. Lucy's mother Sarah (Meg Ryan) has recently found a lump in her breast that may be cancer. Carter arrives and his grandmother does not remember him and he finds that she has let all of the food in her home go bad. While cleaning up her home, he meets Sarah as he is taking out garbage. Lucy has been watching him from the roof and eventually introduces herself as well.

Carter bonds with Sarah and they talk about their lives. She convinces Lucy to go on a date with Carter to cheer him up. She initially refuses and is actually dating the high school quarterback at her school. Through all of their experiences together, they each end up gaining perspective regarding their own lives.
