Russell Redds and JellyRoll need money, fast. Russell comes home late from a concert and sneaks into his wife's purse to try get her checkbook. He then hears her wake up and pretends to sleep so he doesn't get caught by his wife. However, she already knows what happened. Meanwhile, his co-partner JellyRoll is fooling around with Gina, who is married to a cop. Suddenly Gina's husband Ronnie drives into the parking lot and starts to shoot at them, JellyRoll and Gina narrowly escape by car. Redds pays a visit to his mom and begs her for money but is turned down so he actually steals his wife's checkbook this time, while she is in the shower. The two are able to get the money they need for the concert. Many more shenanigans occur as these two friends try and pull all of this off.
