Based on a movie from 1989 with the same name, Uncle Buck is comedy show from America. It was on ABC for one season in 2015 to 2016. The show was transformed into a TV series by Steven Cragg and Brian Bradley. The basic plot is that Buck, who is rather a slob and an alcoholic cigar-smoker, somehow is chosen as his brothers' kids' guardian when they have to go away for a while. So now he is taking care of three kids even though he has no experience in child care. He is somewhat supported by the grandmother of the kids, along with getting advice from his poker friends Rafer and Skank. Some of the main characters were Buck Russell (played by Mike Epps), Alexis Smith-Russell (played by Nia Long), Will Russell (played by James Lesure), Tia Russell (played by Iman Bebson), Miles Russell (played by Sayeed Shahidi), and Maizy Russell (played by Aalyrah Caldwell). However, the show didn't get good reviews, so ABC canceled it in July 2016. In fact, it got very bad reviews from watchers and was rated poorly on rating sites such as Rotten Tomatoes, and Matracritic at far below average.
