In the year 1982, a comedy movie by the title of "Jekyll & Hyde...Together Again" was released. The movie takes its inspiration from the classic novel "The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" by Robert Louis Stevenson. However, it presents a modern and humorous take on the story. The film revolves around the character of Dr. Daniel Jekyll (played by Mark Blankfield), a skilled and respected surgeon at a prestigious hospital in Los Angeles. Dr. Jekyll is dedicated to his profession and spends most of his time in the operation theatre. He is known for his skill as a surgeon and his dedication to his work.

But, despite his professional successes, Dr. Jekyll is deeply unhappy and unsatisfied with his life. He is married to Mary (played by Bess Armstrong), a compulsive shopper who spends all his money and treats him poorly. Dr. Jekyll is also a drug addict who is addicted to a new experimental drug that he has developed. He is so addicted to the drug that he even ignores his life-saving surgeries to get his fix.

In an attempt to cure his addiction, Dr. Jekyll develops a new drug that he believes will cure his addiction. But, after taking the drug, he transforms into his evil alter-ego, Mr. Hyde. Mr. Hyde is everything that Dr. Jekyll is not. He is confident, charming, and carefree. He spends money recklessly, parties hard, and engages in all kinds of debauchery.

As Mr. Hyde, Dr. Jekyll becomes involved with a group of drug dealers and becomes embroiled in a world of crime and danger. Meanwhile, Mary, who is fed up with her husband's addiction, develops feelings for Dr. Jekyll's colleague, Dr. Carew (played by Tim Thomerson), and starts an affair with him.

As the story progresses, Dr. Jekyll struggles to deal with his addiction and the growing danger that surrounds him as Mr. Hyde. He also tries to save his failing marriage and keep his job as a respected surgeon.

The movie presents a lighthearted and comedic take on the classic story of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. The performances by the lead actors, Mark Blankfield and Bess Armstrong, are engaging and humorous. Blankfield successfully portrays the contrasting characters of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, while Armstrong steals the show with her witty one-liners and sassy attitude.

The film features some unique and creative special effects that add to the overall comedic and absurd tone of the movie. The humor in the film is often raunchy and crude, but it also has moments of clever satire and witty social commentary.

Overall, "Jekyll & Hyde...Together Again" is an entertaining and unique take on a classic story. It's not for everyone, but it's a light-hearted comedy that's worth checking out.
