Jennifer 8 is a crime thriller starring Andy Garcia and Uma Thurman. Garcia plays Josh Berlin, a cop is Los Angeles who is undergoing a bad time in his life. He is being investigated for corrupted and his marriage is one the verge of breaking up. An old friend of his invites him to take a job in a small town. Relieved to get away from the pressures of the big city, Berlin takes the job but soon finds himself involved in a huge mystery.

There has been a serial killer haunting this small town. This killer has targeted blind women and the local cops have been unable to solve the crime for years. Berlin is forced to reopen the case. While he is investigating, Berlin meets Helena, another blind woman and potential target of the serial killer. Berlin begins to fall in love with Helena and he vows to find the killer. Helena teams up with Berlin to help him solve the mystery.
