Joshilaay is a 1989 Bollywood action drama film directed by Sibte Hassan Rizvi, starring Sunny Deol, Anil Kapoor, and Sridevi in the lead roles. The movie is an intense drama with a captivating storyline that captures your attention and leaves you on the edge of your seat. The story revolves around three friends - Raju (Anil Kapoor), Surendra (Sunny Deol), and Yashpal (Rajesh Vivek) - who are part of a small team of vigilante police officers, fighting against the corruption and injustice prevailing in the society. They take up different disguises and set traps for the criminals, putting their lives at risk to bring them to justice.

The trio's mission is put to the test when they come across a powerful and influential criminal, Jagga (Mohan Joshi), who tries to bribe them into working for him. Refusing to bow down to his threats, the friends vow to bring him to justice, no matter what it takes.

In the meantime, Raju falls in love with Sheetal (Sridevi), who is Jagga's sister. Sheetal is unaware of her brother's criminal activities and is a kind-hearted soul. Her relationship with Raju creates further tension between the friends and the criminal gang, making things more complicated.

As the team of vigilante police officers dig deeper, they discover a complex web of corruption and deceit, involving some of the most powerful people in the city. Jagga's influence extends far beyond what they had anticipated, and it becomes clear that taking him down would not be an easy task.

The movie is a classic example of how good can triumph over evil, even in the darkest of times. The characters are well-developed, and the performances of the lead actors are outstanding. Sunny Deol, known for his action-packed roles, delivers a power-packed performance, while Anil Kapoor brings his own charm and wit to the character of Raju. Sridevi, as always, shines in her role, bringing a sense of warmth and grace to the character of Sheetal.

The music of the movie, composed by R.D. Burman, is another highlight, with several memorable songs that are still popular today. From the romantic ballad "Shehar Ki Pariyon Ke Peeche" to the lively dance number "Maine Tujhe Manga Tujhse Khuda Manga", the soundtrack is a perfect mix of different moods and genres.

One of the most memorable scenes from the movie is the climax, where the friends face off against Jagga in a nail-biting showdown. The action sequences are intense and well-executed, leaving you at the edge of your seat.

Overall, Joshilaay is a must-watch for any Bollywood fan, especially for those who enjoy action-packed dramas with a strong storyline and memorable characters. It is a movie that you can watch again and again, and still feel the same level of excitement and anticipation every time.
