Watch Just Between Friends

Just Between Friends is a 1986 drama that showcases the bond of friendship even through tragedy. Holly Davis is a mother who is happily married to her husband, Dr. Chip Davis. She has no idea that Chip is having an affair with a local television news anchor, Sandy Dunlap. After meeting Sandy at her part time job at a gym, Holly and Sandy become fast friends. Their lives become very intermixed, even with their children becoming friends. When the gym goes up for sale, Sandy and Holly jump at the chance to own it together.

Sandy becomes aware of a tragic accident that kills Dr. Davis while working at the news station and is devastated by the news, not knowing she is in love with Holly’s husband. The truth seeps out as Holly is cleaning out her husband’s belongings and finds a picture of Sandy and Chip together. She confronts Sandy and refuses to ever have their friendship again. Sandy begs and does anything she can to keep Holly in her life as her friend, especially after finding out she is pregnant.
