Kailashey Kelenkari is a 2007 Indian Bengali language thriller film directed by Sandip Ray, the son of the legendary filmmaker Satyajit Ray. The movie is based on a novel of the same name by Satyajit Ray, and stars Sabyasachi Chakrabarty, Parambrata Chattopadhyay and Bibhu Bhattacharya in lead roles. The story follows the adventures of Feluda, a detective, and his cousin Topshe, who are invited to a small town near Darjeeling to investigate a mysterious theft. The theft involves an antique manuscript, which was stolen from the residence of a wealthy businessman, Dhananjoy Bose. The manuscript contains a detailed account of the life and times of an ancient king. Feluda and Topshe begin their investigation, and their probing leads them to the residence of a retired judge, a curious young man who seems to have a lot of interest in antiquities, a businessman who seems to be very keen on acquiring the manuscript, and others.

As Feluda and Topshe dig deeper into the case, they soon realize that the theft is just one part of a much larger conspiracy, and they soon find themselves in the midst of a much larger plot that involves greed, jealousy, and deceit. The duo must use all their wit and intelligence to unravel the mystery and bring the culprits to justice.

The movie is a gripping thriller, full of twists and turns, that keeps the viewers on the edge of their seats throughout. The performances by the lead actors are outstanding, with Sabyasachi Chakrabarty bringing his trademark charm and wit to the role of Feluda, and Parambrata Chattopadhyay delivering a commendable performance as Topshe, Feluda's young cousin and assistant. The supporting cast, including Bibhu Bhattacharya, are also excellent, and help to bring the story to life.

The direction by Sandip Ray is masterful, perfectly capturing the essence of the novel and bringing it to the screen. The cinematography is stunning, with the beautiful landscapes of Darjeeling providing the perfect backdrop for the story. The music by Sandip Ray's father, Satyajit Ray, is also outstanding, adding to the atmosphere of the film.

Overall, Kailashey Kelenkari is an excellent adaptation of Satyajit Ray's novel, and a must-watch for anyone who loves a good thriller. It is a testament to the power of storytelling and the legacy of one of India's greatest filmmakers.
