This British-Canadian adventure film is based on a novel by H. Rider Haggard. Sir Henry Curtis and Allan Quartermain are joined by Captain Good on a safari into the deepest, unexplored regions of the African continent, in search of the legendary treasures supposedly buried by King Solomon. Not only must they survive volcanic eruptions and attacks by hostile natives and dinosaurs, they must also determine if the mysterious Queen Nyleptha whom they encounter in a lost Phoenician city, will prove to be a friend or foe as they continue their dangerous quest.
