Leprechaun: Origins is a chilling movie about a centuries-old Irish legend about leprechauns. The movie begins with two couples who are backpacking through the Irish countryside. Because they need a place to stay, one of the local residents offers them an old, nearly-abandoned cabin at the edge of the countryside. They take the residents up on the offer, and that is when they discover the chilling secret that the Irish town possesses.

The movie has a host of young stars to its credit, the most notable one being Dylan Postl of "Hornswoggle" fame on many wrestling shows of this era. The horror movie also stars Stephanie Bennett as Sophie Roberts, and has Teach Grant playing Sean McConville, Bruce Blain playing Ian Joyce, and Adam Boys playing Francois. The film also features Ben being played by Andrew Dunbar, the character of David being played by Brendan Fletcher, and Melissa Roxburgh playing the character of Jeni.
