It is a peaceful night in Las Vegas until a strange man shows up in a pawn shop with a statue of a hideous leprechaun. A beautiful gold medallion rests on the neck of the statue. The pawn shop owner is unaware that danger is staring him in the face. Unfortunately, the pawn shop owner makes a huge mistake by removing the medallion from the leprechaun's neck. 

The leprechaun immediately comes to life with vengeance on his mind. He wants to keep his gold and he will destroy anyone that tries to take it. Bad things will happen to anyone who crosses his path. 

A young man named Scott drives into town for a night of fun. He befriends a smart and sarcastic young woman named Tammy. Scott decides to put his luck to the test at the casino. He loses everything. This forces him to visit a local pawn shop to pawn his beloved Rolex watch.

At the pawn shop, he finds the deceased owner and one of the Leprechaun's golden coins. Scott decides to make a wish with the coin. Scott wishes for a long winning streak at the casino, but he is unaware that the casino is owned by a crooked man who hates to lose. The sleazy casino owner also has his minions working for him. Their job revolves around using shrewd tactics that help the house maintain a winning advantage over players.
