Lila & Eve is an American drama and thriller movie that was premiered on January 30 2015. The plot focuses on the story of Lila, a single mother and Atlantic City clerk whose teenage son was gunned down at random during a drive-by shooting. Unable to take care of herself or her younger child, she attends a support group for mothers of murder victims where she meets Eve whose daughter was also murdered and is not as interested in moving on as the rest of the group is. When the police refuse to bring the killers to justice and the local detectives are unable to help , Eve urges Lila to put matters into her own hands and find the killers herself when they find a gun in her younger son's book bag while redecorating Lila's house. With a revolver in hand, the two of them then embark on a violent path of vigilante justice as they make their way to the top of a chain of drug dealers by interrogating drug dealers, to avenge the murder of Lila's son. The film is available on a few video-hosting sites. It was also released as a limited release and through video on demand on July 17 and was featured in theaters that same day. The movie is available on DVD on August 25. It has an R rating fur strong language and violence. The film has made $21.8k in the box office and has a running time of 1 hour and 34 minutes.
