When Detective Charlie Congers helps the FBI try to get information they need to put a reputed gangster away, little does he know how complicated things will get. The crook's girlfriend, Jackie Pruitt, doesn't really have the information the feds need. Charles Bronson stars as Detective Congers, who finds himself drawn to Jackie and feels he must try to protect her from the wrath of her ex-boyfriend.
