Max Matheson is having a tough life, he still can't get over the fact that he killed his fiance in a car wreck. To help Max deal with the pain he has been going through psychological treatments. Max has come along way in the past year so it's a good thing he's doing these treatments. Max's dad sees he's changing and decides to give Max a job as a security guard. One day at work Max goes into the break room and looks in the mirror and see a dead woman whose head is getting turned off by a lady he just met named Jenna. Later that day Jenna dies by slipping through her shower and glass then cuts her skin so deep it rips her head off. Once Max hears how she dies he realizes he saw her death earlier and can determine when and how people are going to die. That night Max looked in the mirror and saw a man named Ryan getting his guts cut out, so he tries to find Max and help save him. But it's too late and Ryan is killed the same way Max saw he would die. When Max looks in the mirror again he sees his father's face, but its bloody with cuts all over it. He runs to his father's house just in time to save his life. At work Max is questioned by two detectives because they want to know does Max know anything, but Max tells them he sees people dead in mirrors and that's the cause of people dying. The detective thinks he is crazy, but they don't arrest him and they leave Max job. Max looks in the mirror and sees a light that leads him to a box that has an id in it that belongs to a lady named Eleanor Reigns. Max later finds out that Eleanor use to work at the same place he does and that she's missing. Max goes outside and a light starts shining leading him to a flyer on a pole with contact details for Eleanor. Max calls Eleanor sister Elizabeth and they try to find out some details about Eleanor missing but somebody has removed all information about her case off the computer. Max and Elizabeth later discover that Jenna, Ryan, and Keller did something horrible and that Eleanor soul made them die so painfully.
