Ravi meets and falls in love with fellow college student, Sheel, but is shocked to later learn that she is engaged to his widowed father. However, when he discovers his son's heart, Ravi's father graciously steps out of the picture and allows the two young lovers to marry. They begin their life together, but the unfortunate result is not a happy ending.
