Major Bailey and his small group of US cavalry officers are living an enjoyable life stationed in the Philippines spending most of their days relaxing and playing polo. The Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor is followed by a second attack on the Philippines, which pushes the stunned officers into action and a race to get their families back to the safety of the US.
