"SHE who must be obeyed! ...SHE who must be loved! ...SHE who must be possessed!"

She is a 1965 movie starring Ursula Andress. Andress was riding high on her fame as the sexy bombshell in the James Bond movie Dr. No. She is based on a H Rider Haggard novel, and the 1965 movie is one of several film treatments of the novel. Earlier film versions appeared in 1908, 1911, 1916, 1917, 1925 and 1935. Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing, the two major stars of British horror films, also star in She. The story takes place in 1918 in British controlled Palestine. Peter Cushing plays a former British officer named Professor Holly. He leads an expedition to explore a area of north-east Africa that is little known. They discover the lost city Kuma. The city is ruled by Queen Avesha (Andress).
