Pauly Shore brings his comedic experience in the family friendly comedy Opposite Day. The movie was released in 2008 by director R. Michael Givens and written by Max Botkin. The story follows a normal family compiled of a Mother (Colleen Crabtree), Father (Pauly Shore), Sister and Brother. Their family dynamic is much like any other, where the children often wish that their parents and other adults would understand what it's like to be a kid again, having to follow strict rules, clean up their rooms, and do their other various chores including the all around dreaded homework. Feeling overwhelmed by their rambunctious children, Denise and Robert take their children to their Grandparent's house to learn some values and respect. After they are dropped off at the Grandparent's house for the weekend, the children begin to feel a slight bit more relaxed but still wonder what it would be like. While staying with their grandparents, one single wish causes a whole lot of trouble for this family when the parents and children reverse roles. Sammy (Billy Unger) and Carla (Ariel Winter) wish that all kids be in charge and that the adults would not be in charge any longer. Unknowingly his wish is granted and all of the adults in the film become children, and the children must act like adults going to work, paying the bills, and taking care of their parents by feeding them, dressing them for bed, and other things their parents did for them and they took for granted. After seeing how much effort and skill their parents put in to being grown-ups they discover they would like to go back to being kids again and take action to change the wish back and go back to the way things were.
