Air Buddies is the sixth in the Air Bud movie series. By this time, Buddy and Molly have five puppies together. Just like their mom and dad, they have a knack for sports. Their names are Rosebud, Buddha, Budderball, Mudbud, and B-Dawg. Rosebud is the soccer player of the family, just like her mom, Molly. B-Dawg inherits his father’s knack for basketball. Budderball is the football player and the constant snacker. Buddha is the zen master and baseball player of the group. Mudbug cannot stay clean, and he plays volleyball. Buddy and Molly also return for this movie. The movie starts when Buddy and Molly want to go with Noah and Henry to a basketball game. They arrange for a babysitter to watch the puppies while they are away. The babysitter soon makes the mistake of sleeping on the job, and the puppies make a mess of the house. When their owners and their parents return, they all decide that it would be better if the puppies had a new home. In the search to find the puppies new homes, Noah and Henry make profiles on all the children at their school. They start weeding out the group. The family decides to begin interviews in the morning, which the puppies overhear. The buddies decide to run away before they can be separated from not only their parents, but also each other. The villain of this movie is a man named Mr. Livingston. He decides that he wants to give his son whatever he wants for his birthday. His son, Bartleby, wants Buddy so that he will have someone to play with since he is an only child. Mr. Livingston sees an opportunity and tells his people that he wants both Molly and Buddy so that he can make more money by breeding puppies. When his people tell him that they already have puppies, he orders them to retrieve the family.
