Watch Race to Witch Mountain

Race to Witch Mountain is a science fiction thriller based on the 1975 Escape to Witch Mountain. It stars Dwayne Johnson as Jack Bruno. He is an ex-con working as a cab driver. However, Jack's past is not so eager to let him go. He is approached by a couple of thugs who work for a mob boss loosely affiliated with Jack. The boss desires to have Jack back on the team. However, Jack wants nothing to do with his former life and quickly disables the goons who attempt to intimidate him.

Meanwhile two alien teens have crashed landed on Earth in an attempt to find resources for their planet. Government officials are aware of the landing and track the teens through satellite and video feeds. They spot them climbing into the back of Jack Bruno's vehicle. As Jack enters his vehicle, the kids surprise him and request transportation to a desert location. Government thugs track the cab and attempt to overtake them on an empty stretch of road. The chase ensues and eventually ends with the teens displaying their super powers to stop their pursuers. They arrive at their location only to be accosted by a galactic bounty hunter who, along with the government and mob goons, chases them throughout the movie.

The trio eventually arrives at the Las Vegas Alien Convention where they meet an interplanetary expert. She is reluctant to believe the kids are from another planet. She drops her laptop. It is telepathically caught and placed in her hands by one of the kids. All goons converge on the convention to capture the children. Another chase ensues. The kids are caught and set for testing. However, Jack and his counterpart free the kids and escape the massive shootout that follows. The galactic hunter boards the ship and has a showdown with Jack. The hunter is eventually overcome and the kids are able to accomplish their mission returning safely to home.
