Paul's seemingly perfect life is shattered when his daughter Caitlin (Aubrey Peeples) is brutally murdered. Devastated by the loss, Paul is determined to discover the truth behind Caitlin's death, even if it means opening old wounds.

As he delves deeper into the investigation, Paul realizes that the people responsible for his daughter's death are linked to his own past. With the help of his old friends, Frank (Max Ryan) and Danny (Michael McGrady), Paul begins a quest for vengeance that leads him down a dangerous path.

Rachel Nichols plays the role of Detective St. John, who is assigned to Caitlin's case. Initially suspicious of Paul's involvement, St. John later becomes his ally and helps him uncover the truth.

One of the standout features of Rage is the emotional depth that Cage brings to his performance. As Paul, he perfectly captures the pain and anger that comes with losing a child. He expertly portrays the character's inner turmoil and the lengths he is willing to go to seek justice for his daughter.

The action scenes in Rage are also well-executed. From high-speed car chases to intense shootouts, the movie has plenty of thrilling moments that keep the audience on the edge of their seats. Director Paco Cabezas does a great job of balancing the action with the emotional elements of the story.

The story itself is engaging, with enough twists and turns to keep the viewer guessing. The movie explores themes of loss, redemption, and the consequences of one's actions. It also touches on the idea of whether someone can truly escape their past or if it will inevitably catch up with them.

Overall, Rage is a solid action thriller that features a gripping story, excellent performances, and intense action scenes. The movie is sure to satisfy fans of the genre and anyone looking for an engaging, entertaining film.
