Hubert Flynn is a man who likes to go for a drink at the local pub. One night, after he returns home, Flynn turns into a rat. The Flynn family is not sure how he transformed into a rat, and each family member has different opinions about his transformation. His wife Conchita thinks that he turned into a rat because he needs a punishment. His son Pius thinks the family should get rid of the rat. However, his daughter thinks the rat needs love and affection.

How will the family cope with the transformation? And will Flynn, a working-class man, turn human again?
