Ring 0: Birthday is the story of Sadako, an introverted young girl who's working on her issues. The movie shows her struggles as she attempts to push herself into the drama department. Things begin to take a turn for the worse when her fellow actors begin to become envious of the attention. Worse, it slowly becomes clear that there's something a bit off about her spiritualist mother. And what secret does Sadako herself hold close? The movie moves from dark drama to outright horror as Sadako's story becomes clear.
