Throughout the film, the duo faces multiple challenges and close calls, but ultimately, they are able to outsmart Tobin and his cohorts, with the help of some unlikely allies who they meet along the way.

The movie features Hitchcock's trademark suspenseful moments and his masterful use of camera angles and lighting to heighten the tension. Robert Cummings delivers an excellent performance as the charming and resourceful Kane, while Priscilla Lane brings a sense of wit and intelligence to the character of Martin.
