Watch Sexy Beast

Sexy Beast is the 2001 crime drama directed by Johnathon Glazer. Ben Kingsley was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. Gary Dove (Ray Winstone) is an ex-con and professional safe cracker who has retired and is living with his wife Dee (Amanda Redman). Now that Gary is out of the business, he's content with living a quiet life in the Spanish Villa. Out of the blue, a former associate Don Logan (Ben Kingsley) arrives in Spain to convince Gary to take another bank heist set up by master criminal Teddy Bass (Ian McShane).

Dove turns down the proposal, which enrages the mentally unstable Logan. After Logan is kicked off his plane for refusing to put out a cigarette, he returns to Dove home even more enraged. Logan becomes violent after Dove's continued refusals. He is shot by Dee and beaten to death by Dove and his other associates. Dove accepts the bank job in the hopes that it will cover up the murder of Logan. Bass becomes a bit suspicious after meeting with Dove.

Dove and his associates pull the heist by using high tech equipment and scuba gear to break through a pool house. After the bank vault is emptied, Dove returns to Bass with his spoils. Bass is still suspicious of Dove and believes he may have killed Logan. Now that the job is over, Bass offers Dove a ride to the airport. Before they reach the airport, he stops at the home of the banker Harry (James Fox), who gave him the tip. Bass kills Harry and again questions Dove about Logan. Dove again feigns ignorance as to Logan's whereabouts. The two leave and Dove is dropped off at the airport. Back in Spain, Harry pals around with his friends. It is also revealed that Logan's body is buried at the bottom of their swimming pool.
