Shield for Murder is the tale of a vicious cop as he tries to cover his tracks in a murder robbery. When a runner working for a local booking is sent to deliver $25,000, a corrupt cop sees this as the perfect time to steal the money. The corrupted officer kills the runner and begins to cover his tracks. With the pressure from his failed lounge singing girlfriend to get her a model home, the police officer does everything he can to both keep the money and get the heat off of him. Just it seems like his plan is going to work a surprise witness makes and appearance and threatens to expose his scheme.
