Watch Smokin' Aces 2: Assassins' Ball

This straight-to-DVD prequel to Smoking Aces stars Tom Berenger, Vinnie Jones, Tommy Flanagan, Autumn Reeser and Ernie Hudson. It pits a whole slew of assassins against the FBI, just like you'd expect. There's treachery, trickery, cold-blooded murder and plenty of playing card games of course. Walter Weed, an FBI desk jockey, is targeted for execution at precisely 3am on April 19th. Needless to say the FBI would rather not have their own murdered by maniacs on their watch, so they lock him in a bunker under a bar to keep him safe.

Converging on that bar are a cast of colorful and specialized assassins intent on collecting the bounty in time for the 3am deadline. The Tremor family are a gang of perverse, drooling, inbred maniacs. Any situation they can't think their way out of, which is most of them, they're willing to overcome with firepower. Ariella Martinez relies on exotic poisons. Finbar McTeague likes to play doctor before the kill, and Lazlo Soot is a master of disguise.

All of these interested parties come together just before 3am and everything explodes, blows up and explodes again.
